During my time in the music industry (as a song writer, producer and guitarist), I co-wrote a song that went to #1 on the South African charts and stayed there for 6 weeks.

A book I coauthored, "Thank God I" rose to #1 in the 'inspirational' category on Amazon.com.
#2 YouTube Channel
My YouTube channel was voted as runner up in the "2010 Rock Your Life Social Media Awards". This came as a huge surprise and honor as I was not even aware of such an award existed.
#2 in the ‘Extraordinary Life’ Awards
Each year, the XL Results Foundation (a global community of socially responsible entrepreneurs) hosts an award for the person living the most extraordinary life.
Out of 3000 entrepreneurs nominated for this award globally, I had the privilege of coming in 2nd place.
Lived in an African Ghetto for 6 months
Growing up in South Africa during the Apartheid years, I became conditioned to fear black people.
So, in an attempt to conquer my fear, I moved to Guguletu (a South African shanty town) and lived there for 6 months as the only white man for miles in a community of 100,000 black people...
My life was changed forever...
