Abbe Finn is a retired professor of emeritus at Florida Gulf Coast University. She has extensive experience with workplace violence prevention and crisis response. She has provided counseling after numerous traumatic events including the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, Hurricane Katrina and the Parkland school shooting. She also worked with survivors of the 2010 earthquake in Haiti.
