Biography

After thirteen years selling computers, Michael Jecks took a career change and started writing novels in 1994. Now he is the author of the longest running crime series by a living author with 32 titles in his Templar Series.
Michael founded Medieval Murderers and Bloody Brits as performance groups of professional writers. He was the Chairman of the UK's Crime Writers' Association and has been recognised with membership of the Detection Club. He organised the CWA's Debut Dagger competition for three years, and has judged many awards including the CWA/Ian Fleming Steel Dagger and International Thriller Writers' prizes. He is a founder of the Historical Writers' Association, and remains on the Committee.
