As a survivor of both childhood and adult domestic violence and abuse, Melanie strongly advocates for victims and survivors of domestic violence and abuse.

Melanie speaks candidly about the issues of domestic violence... and abuse with emphasis on empowering individuals who are victims and survivors of domestic violence and abuse. She presents a very unique point of view of both a childhood and adult survivor of domestic abuse and violence.

Melanie further advocates for the prevention of domestic violence and abuse by educating individuals and bringing awareness to the global community. Melanie believes that the survivors are the teachers who carry the message of education, awareness and empowerment to the global community.

As an empowerment speaker and consultant, Melanie is very proactive and dynamic in her presentation and delivery of her message to the global community. At present, Melanie is authoring a book journaling her true life experiences and opinions with respect to domestic violence and abuse. She offers a unique perspective on the issues and complexities of domestic violence and abuse.
